Maryland Made and One Maryland Collective teamed up to host the “Secure the Bag” event at Gossett Hall on Oct. 28, bringing together over 120 student-athletes with industry experts for networking opportunities. Led by Sydney Anderson, Maryland’s Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development, the event aimed to provide student-athletes with information about career opportunities and Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deals that they can benefit from while at the University of Maryland. More than 30 organizations participated in the event, showing their support for the holistic development of student-athletes.
