Police report 2 men stabbed within minutes of each other in Rockville – DC News Now | Washington, DC

Two men were stabbed in Rockville, Maryland, just minutes apart on Monday, according to police reports. The first incident occurred at around 1:45 p.m. in the 300 block of North Horners Lane, where a man was found with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

Just 20 minutes later, a second stabbing was reported in the 100 block of Monroe Street, less than a mile away from the first location. Another man was found with stab wounds and was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police are currently investigating both incidents and have not yet determined if they are connected. They have not released any information about possible suspects or motives in either case.

These stabbings come amid a recent increase in violent crime in the Rockville area. In the past month, there have been several reports of assaults, robberies, and shootings in the area.

Local residents have expressed concern about the rise in violent incidents and are calling for increased police presence in the area. Some have suggested that more community outreach and engagement programs may help prevent future crimes.

Anyone with information about the stabbings or any other crimes in the area is urged to contact the Rockville Police Department or Crime Stoppers. Authorities are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to help keep the community safe.
