Homicide Investigation in Davidsonville: Video Emerges of Suspected Arson
Anne Arundel County police are investigating a shocking homicide linked to the death of 67-year-old Edward Stephen Koza, the owner of Tropic Bay Aquatic Garden Center in Davidsonville. Koza was found deceased in his burned truck on May 24 after being tied up and set on fire. Two 18-year-olds, Jonah Poole and Kylee Dakes, have been arrested and face multiple charges, including first-degree murder, assault, and arson. Both suspects were slated to attend Southern High School’s graduation this week.
Authorities are currently analyzing a social media video that reportedly shows a man resembling Poole igniting the vehicle. Koza’s neighbor expressed their shock, stating, “Nobody deserves to die that way.” During a court appearance, the duo was denied bail.
