Former Maryland QB Champ Long Transfers to North Carolina A&T
Former Maryland Terrapins quarterback Champ Long has announced his commitment to North Carolina A&T after entering the transfer portal this spring. Long, a three-star recruit from Fairfield, Connecticut, joined the Terps in 2023, but his time in Maryland has been limited. In 2024, he played in just one game, completing a single pass for 10 yards.
