Tonight, central Maryland can expect a tranquil evening with partly to mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the comfortable 50s. Areas along the Bayshore may see temperatures near 60 degrees, perfect for enjoying the night with open windows and light jackets. However, a shift in weather is on the horizon as a new system approaches from the west.
On Thursday, cloud cover will intensify, leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms by afternoon.
