Baltimore Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker Denies Allegations of Misconduct
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has publicly denied multiple sexual misconduct allegations made against him, asserting that the claims are untrue. Speaking for the first time since the allegations surfaced on January 30, Tucker stated, “I maintain I did not act inappropriately at any point… These claims are simply not true.”
The allegations initially involved six local massage therapists but have reportedly escalated to 16 accusers, all citing incidents from his rookie season in 2012 to 2016. This past week, NFL investigators visited Baltimore to interview some of Tucker’s accusers, prompting Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta to describe the situation as "serious and concerning."
Tucker expressed his determination to clear his name, emphasizing that he has never intended to disrespect anyone and lamenting that some may have felt uncomfortable. “It devastates me to know that anyone I have worked with would not have felt respected,” he said. He also issued an apology to anyone who felt disrespected.
In a show of support, Tucker’s wife, Amanda, defended him, stating the allegations have deeply impacted their family. She recalled that she had recommended spas to him for professional sessions. “I believe my husband, and I love and support him fully,” she added.
Both DeCosta and head coach John Harbaugh have indicated that the team will wait for the NFL investigation to conclude before making any decisions regarding Tucker’s future with the Ravens. As this situation develops, the organization and its fans remain focused on Tucker’s commitment to conduct himself respectfully.
