Man Arrested in Fruitland Homicide
Fruitland, MD – Maryland State Police have arrested 40-year-old Brandt John Roberts in connection with the murder of Albert Vacovsky III, also a resident of Fruitland. Authorities discovered Vacovsky’s body in a residence on Camden Avenue on Friday evening around 6:30 p.m., where emergency service personnel pronounced him dead.
Roberts faces serious charges, including first- and second-degree murder, along with related offenses. He is currently being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center as he awaits a hearing before a district court commissioner.
