Devils and Green Terror Share Honors in Maryland Game


The Dickinson softball team bounced back from a tough doubleheader sweep with a split against McDaniel College on Tuesday afternoon. In game one, the Devils secured a 4-2 victory before falling 5-4 in extra innings in game two. Erin McMahon led the Devils to victory in game one, pitching a solid game with 10 strikeouts. The offense was led by Eden Blanker’s two RBIs. In game two, Dickinson took an early lead but ultimately fell short in extra innings. Marah Goldman and Lauren Routzahn contributed offensively, but it was not enough to secure the win. The Devils now have a record of 14-18, 3-9 in the conference. They will look to bounce back in their next doubleheader against Franklin and Marshall College. The game is set for Saturday afternoon in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Despite the tough loss in game two, Dickinson showed resilience and determination throughout the day, proving they have what it takes to compete at a high level.
