The program, in its third year, provided 12 current Big Ten student-athletes with hands-on experience in sports journalism, media, and broadcasting.

In addition to her athletic pursuits, Wright has a background in pageantry, having been a runner-up in the Miss Maryland International competition. Her participation in the CBS Sports Immersion Program has further solidified her interest in pursuing a career in sports media.
