Autopsy report confirms Maryland man drowned while vacationing with parents in the Bahamas

Officials in the Bahamas have stated that they do not suspect any foul play in the death of 23-year-old American, Dinari McAlmont, whose body was found on a Paradise Island beach while on vacation with his family. Despite claims from his family that he had been beaten, a post-mortem examination revealed that McAlmont died from drowning and foul play is not suspected at this time. McAlmont’s parents have expressed doubts about the findings and believe that there was foul play involved due to the bruises on his body.

The tragic incident occurred just 12 hours after the family arrived at the Atlantis Paradise Bahamas resort. McAlmont disappeared after dinner with his parents and was found lifeless the following morning. His mother suspects that he was beaten and is calling for justice. The resort where the family was staying released a statement expressing condolences and cooperation with authorities.

The State Department maintains a Level 2 travel warning for The Bahamas due to violent crime, particularly in Nassau. The investigation into McAlmont’s death is ongoing.
