A freeze warning is in effect for most of Maryland as temperatures are expected to dip into the upper 20s and lower 30s overnight. The region will experience gusty northwest winds reaching over 30 mph on Wednesday morning, producing wind chills in the low to mid-20s. However, temperatures will rebound into the mid-50s in the afternoon under sunny skies. Rain chances return on Thursday and Friday, with steady light to moderate rain expected on Friday with temperatures near 60 degrees. Up to an inch of rain is possible by late Friday night. Sunshine will return on Sunday with highs in the lower 60s, climbing into the 70s on Monday and Tuesday. A cold front is expected to arrive late Tuesday, bringing highs back down into the 60s by Wednesday.
