U.S. Bank Believes Vice Chair Was Aboard Plane That Crashed in Minnesota

Terry Dolan, the vice chair of U.S. Bank, is believed to have been on a small plane that crashed in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, according to a bank spokesperson. The plane was registered to Dolan, who was also the company’s chief administration officer. There were no survivors on the aircraft, and it is unclear how many people were on board. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the victims.
The plane, a single-engine SOCATA TBM7, crashed into a home causing a fire. Luckily, only one person was inside the home at the time and was able to escape safely. The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation and plans to recover the plane for further examination.
Attempts to reach Dolan’s family have been unsuccessful, and the medical examiner’s office has not confirmed if he was on board the plane. The city of Brooklyn Park is providing updates on the situation as more information becomes available. The NTSB will be moving the plane to a new location for investigation. NBC News reporter Rebecca Cohen and producer Jay Blackman are covering the story, with contributions from Sophie Comeau and Michelle Acevedo.
