Israel continues airstrikes as Gaza enters longest period without aid


The UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees reported that no food or supplies had entered Gaza in over three weeks due to Israel’s military operations and blockade. The World Food Programme warned that they only had enough food stocks for two more weeks, putting hundreds of thousands of people at risk of hunger and malnutrition. Israel’s ongoing offensive in Gaza, aimed at eliminating Hamas, has resulted in a high death toll, including many children. Israeli officials cite the October 7 attacks as a justification for their actions, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to increase military strength and potentially take more land in Gaza. The United States’ support for Israel in this conflict has been demonstrated through President Donald Trump’s aggressive rhetoric against Hamas and Gaza.
