Shevlin Band from Bend to Attend Rose Festival
The Shevlin-Hixon band from Bend, Oregon, is planning to represent the city at the annual rose festival in Portland. This decision came after T.A. McCann, vice president of The Shevlin-Hixon Company, expressed a wish for the band to attend. However, new uniforms and equipment are needed, estimating an expense of $3,000 for the trip.
