The University of Maryland has announced that Kermit the Frog, the beloved Muppets character, will deliver the commencement speech for the class of 2025. Kermit has previous experience delivering a commencement speech at the former Southampton College, where he shared words of encouragement and humor with graduates. The university president, Darryll J Pines, expressed pride in welcoming Kermit to campus, highlighting the impact of the character in inspiring kindness and optimism among students.
