Maryland local business engulfed in flames as garbage truck ignites and spills its burning load


A trash truck in Montgomery County, Maryland, caught fire and spilled its contents on a property lot on Thursday. The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service (MCFRS) responded to the incident and successfully extinguished the burning trash. A construction loader was called in to spread out the trash to ensure all flames were put out effectively at Roberts Oxygen in Gathersburg, Maryland.

Roberts Oxygen, a distributor of compressed gases, cryogenic liquids, welding supplies, and safety equipment, was the location where the incident occurred. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries in this incident.
