The No. 13/14 Maryland Terrapins (23-7, 13-6 B1G) are gearing up to face off against the Northwestern Wildcats (16-14, 7-12 B1G) in their final regular-season game on March 8, 2025. Prior to the game, Maryland will honor five seniors on Senior Day: Jordan Geronimo, Selton Miguel, Ben Murphy, Jay Young, and Julian Reese. The game will be streamed on Peacock at 3:00 p.m.
Maryland has had a successful season, winning six of its last seven games and boasting seven Quad 1 victories and four top-25 wins. The team’s starting five, known as “The Crab Five,” is one of four major conference teams with all five starters averaging double-figures.
Ja’Kobi Gillespie has been a standout player for Maryland, consistently scoring in double figures and leading the team in assists. Julian Reese has also been a force on the court, recording 13 double-doubles this season and closing in on a rare career accomplishment of 1,000 rebounds.
Derik Queen, a highly-touted freshman, has made a significant impact on the team with impressive scoring performances, including a 29-point game against Rutgers. He leads Maryland in scoring and is part of an exceptional freshman class for the 2024-25 season.
