North Carolina softball blanks Maryland, 5-0, in opening game of the Carolina Classic


The UNC softball team secured a 5-0 victory over Maryland to kick off the 2025 Carolina Classic at Anderson Softball Stadium. The Tar Heels took the lead in the first inning and engaged in a defensive battle until the sixth inning when they scored three quick runs to secure the win.
