Chesapeake Life Center is offering a variety of grief support groups for adults this spring, catering to the diverse needs of individuals experiencing loss. The drop-in grief support groups provide a space for participants to share their feelings and receive support from others, free of charge. In addition, there are other groups that require registration and may have a fee, such as the SoulCollage Studio and Loss of Life Partner/Spouse Evening Group.
These groups aim to provide a supportive environment for individuals grieving the death of a loved one, offering unique activities like creating collages and immersive nature walks. Childcare is not provided, and children are not allowed in the groups.
For those who prefer virtual meetings, there are also options available via Zoom for certain support groups. Registration is required for these groups, and interested individuals can sign up by calling or emailing the center.
Chesapeake Life Center, a program service of Hospice of the Chesapeake, is dedicated to providing bereavement services and activities to support individuals in their grief journey. More information about the support groups and workshops offered can be found on their website.
