The University of Maryland is gearing up for an action-packed fall season, with varsity sports kicking off their seasons and offering students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to attend home games for free with their university ID. Students can also claim tickets for football and men’s basketball games in advance using their university login credentials at umterps.com/student.
For faculty and staff, discounted season tickets are available for football and men’s basketball, along with complimentary tickets to select games courtesy of SECU. Faculty and staff appreciation games also offer free or discounted tickets for up to two guests and special shoutouts during the competitions.
In addition to varsity sports, the university offers a variety of club and intramural sports options for students looking to stay active this fall. From fitness classes to other programs, there are plenty of ways for Terps to get in the game and get fit.
With a record number of students claiming football tickets last year, the addition of four West Coast teams to the Big Ten conference has only increased the excitement for the upcoming season. Associate athletic director Jordan Looby expects a thrilling season ahead, with high-profile opponents like Washington, USC, UCLA, and Oregon set to take the field.
Whether cheering on the Terps in the stadium or participating in club and intramural sports, the University of Maryland offers plenty of opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to stay active and engaged this fall.
