Baltimore is bracing for another blast of Arctic air leading to wintry conditions to close out the workweek. A mix of rain and snow showers is expected as an Arctic cold front approaches, with temperatures dropping throughout the day. Areas north and west of Baltimore may see some heavy snowfall, creating slick spots and reducing visibility. A Blizzard Warning is in place for Garrett County in western Maryland with up to 10 inches of snow possible. A wind advisory is also issued for most of the state, with gusts up to 50 mph causing potential power outages and tree damage. Temperatures will remain cold on Thursday with wind chills in the teens. Improving conditions are forecast for the weekend with mostly sunny skies and milder temperatures expected. Rain chances return next week, with temperatures warming up to the mid-60s by Tuesday. An active weather pattern brings several opportunities for showers in the first half of the week before cooling down by the end of the week.
