Aly Borellis and Lily Bolen both recorded double-figure assists, while Lexi Visintine served up a pair of aces. Zora Hardison led in blocks and Natalie Robinson ended the season tied for the rally-era season leader in block assists.
In the first set, Maryland took the lead early and held on for the win. Rutgers fought back in the second set, but Maryland clinched the victory. The Scarlet Knights were within reach in the third set, but Maryland ultimately closed out the match. Despite the loss, Rutgers had a strong defensive performance, out-blocking Maryland 10-5.
