Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has emphasized the need to defend against terrorism while also urging dialogue and diplomacy. The situation remains tense, with the US denying any prior knowledge or involvement in the Israeli airstrikes in Beirut. Israel continues to assert the legitimacy of its actions in targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon.
