Insurance brokerage firm Relation Insurance Services recently completed the acquisition of York Insurance Services, Inc. on May 31, 2024. York, based in Forest Hill, Maryland, offers a wide range of insurance products, including auto, personal, and business insurance. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Owner of York Insurance Services, Walter “Butch” Tilley, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating that joining Relation will allow them to better serve their clients by providing access to a broader network of carrier relationships and national resources. Following the acquisition, Butch Tilley will continue to manage the firm’s office in Forest Hill, Maryland.
Relation Insurance Services CEO, Tim Hall, welcomed York Insurance Services to the team, praising their outstanding reputation in the community. He highlighted York’s long-term relationships and extensive experience in providing comprehensive insurance solutions to clients. Relation Insurance Services also recently promoted Kevin Rabinowitz to the role of Chief Operating Officer earlier this year.
With the acquisition of York Insurance Services, Relation Insurance Services aims to expand its capabilities and offerings to clients, while also strengthening its presence in the insurance brokerage industry. The partnership between the two firms is expected to enhance the quality of service and coverage options available to clients of both companies.
