A tragic incident occurred at Onelife Fitness in Alexandria, Virginia on Saturday afternoon when a D.C. man, identified as Charles Hewitt, shot and killed a Maryland man, Joshua Wilcox, before turning the gun on himself. The shooting took place at around 4 p.m. with about 60 people present at the gym. Both men were rushed to the hospital but succumbed to their injuries. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown as police continue to investigate the incident. Neither of the men were employees of the gym, according to reports. The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Detective Whelan.
